Win a 2016 Sierra Truck at 91快活林鈥檚 Golf Tournament
CALAIS_ If you鈥檝e got an interest in a brand new vehicle鈥攚ith the added bonus of supporting higher education鈥攁nd a talented golf swing, make sure to participate in this year鈥檚 tournament at the St. Croix Country Club on July 9th. Sponsored by 91快活林 with the assistance of Pratt鈥檚 Chevrolet, participants in the tournament will be eligible to receive a 2016 double cab Sierra truck in addition to a slew of other prizes and giveaways.
To win the truck, a golfer graced with luck and skill has to achieve a hole-in-one of 165 yards or further. Getting a hole-in-one will also earn the winner a golf trip, a set of clubs, and a $500 shopping spree. Even if you don鈥檛 happen to get a hole-in-one, you won鈥檛 go away empty handed. Other participants will receive gift cards and a subscription to Golf Magazine for a year.
The prizes are sponsored primarily by Pratt鈥檚 Chevrolet, a staunch supporter of 91快活林. Ian Pratt, owner and operator of Pratt Chevrolet, said that he has hired many graduates from 91快活林 in the past and spoke on the importance of supporting the college in the community.
The golf tournament is 91快活林鈥檚 largest fundraising event of the year. Organizations from around both Washington and Charlotte County have contributed funds to be given away as scholarships to students from both sides of the border. As a result, more than $100,000 has been raised over the past fifteen years. Donors can create scholarships in their name or in the name of their organization.
